Original site material
Justin Calderon creates the lesson explanations, drawings and interactive figures for this site. The original site text, drawings, code and design are reserved to their rightsholder. Unless permission or a separate licence says otherwise, please ask before copying, redistributing or adapting that material. This does not limit uses permitted by law, including applicable quotation and fair-use exceptions.
The research papers
Each lesson identifies its sources and links to the paper's canonical publisher or repository location. Copyright in the papers and any other third-party material remains with the respective rightsholders. This site's rights notice does not grant permission to reuse those works.
The lessons explain published research in the author's own words and original drawings. We do not host copies of papers or reproduce their text, tables or figures. Scientific ideas, methods and reported facts are credited to their sources; the site's copyright claim concerns its original expression. These are independent interpretations, and citation does not imply approval or endorsement by the paper authors or publishers.
Corrections and removal requests
To report an error or request removal, e-mail hello@decodedbyjustin.com. Include the lesson URL, the passage or figure concerned, and an explanation of the issue. For a copyright concern, identify the work and explain your connection to it. Send only the information needed to review the request. Justin will review the concern and correct or remove material where appropriate.
Privacy and no tracking
The site has no analytics, tracking scripts, advertising, sign-up forms or contact forms, and its code sets no cookies. It does not track readers. Your browser may store local preferences for the contents panel and figure visibility; the widget runtime can also read local display and motion preferences. These preferences stay in your browser and are not sent to us. You can clear them in your browser's site-data settings.
Cloudflare Pages hosts the site and receives ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, to deliver it. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser also contacts Google and sends connection information. These providers may process request data under their own policies: Cloudflare privacy policy and Google Fonts privacy information.
Contact links open your e-mail app. If you write, your message and address are handled by the e-mail providers involved and used to respond to your request.
